Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Abylora is an anonymous, open-source VPN project (“Abylora”, “we”, “us”) that operates the Abylora service and the website at abylora.net (the “Service”). Abylora is not run by a registered company at this time; it is maintained by the project’s contributors. The best way to reach us is support@abylora.net.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, downloading our applications, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that using a VPN is lawful in your country and for complying with all applicable local laws.

4. Accounts and access keys

Abylora does not require an email address, name, or password. Access is tied to a private account number (an “access key”) generated when you create an account. You are solely responsible for storing your access key securely. Because we do not collect identifying information, we cannot recover, reset, or restore a lost access key, and anyone holding the key can use the associated credit. Loss of the key may mean permanent loss of access and any remaining balance.

5. Plans, credit and payment

The Service is offered on a prepaid, time-based basis. You add credit to an account by purchasing a plan and paying with cryptocurrency at checkout — currently Tether (USDT) on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC). Prices are shown on the pricing page and are stated in US dollars (USD); the cryptocurrency amount due is calculated at checkout. You are responsible for sending the exact amount to the address shown; network fees and the timing of blockchain confirmations are outside our control. Credit is applied once the payment is confirmed on-chain. Plans are prepaid and do not auto-renew.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate access that violates that policy or applicable law, as described there.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including specific servers, platforms, or features, with or without notice. Beta or “in testing” platforms are provided “as is”.

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

9. Intellectual property and open source

Abylora is an open-source project. Its source code is made available under the terms of the applicable open-source license(s) published in our public repository, and portions of the Service are built on third-party open-source components, including SoftEther Core, which remain subject to their own licenses. The Abylora name and logo are used to identify the project and may not be used in a way that implies endorsement without permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. A VPN reduces certain risks but does not make any activity anonymous or secure in all circumstances.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abylora and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, access keys, or credit. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of governing jurisdiction — to be set, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of venue — to be set, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise. (These will be confirmed if and when a legal entity or operating base is established.)
